The route to Henderson follows the same corridor as our Las Vegas run for nearly 570 of its miles — south on CA-99 or I-5 through the Central Valley, east on CA-58 over Tehachapi Pass, then south on I-15 across the Mojave — before splitting off at the Las Vegas Valley to pick up I-215 (and, for the southeastern pockets, I-515) and continue past the Strip into Henderson proper. That last stretch adds roughly 15-20 minutes of driving over a straight Las Vegas delivery, but it also means the truck clears downtown Vegas congestion before arriving, which often makes for a smoother final approach than unloading right off the Strip corridor.

Because Henderson sits southeast of the Vegas core rather than in it, the delivery experience tends to be calmer than Strip-adjacent moves — wider streets, more single-family staging room, and less competition for curb space. We treat it as its own delivery plan rather than an afterthought tacked onto a Las Vegas run.

Henderson has built its identity as the quieter, more residential half of the Las Vegas Valley, and it's consistently ranked among the safest and most livable cities in the country — a big part of why Yuba City families choose it over Vegas proper. Green Valley, the city's original master-planned core, offers established tree-lined streets and shopping along Green Valley Parkway. Anthem and MacDonald Ranch sit in the higher, guard-gated foothills with mountain and valley views. Seven Hills adds golf-course frontage and larger custom lots, while Inspirada, on the western edge, is Henderson's newest large-scale planned community with contemporary construction. Lake Las Vegas, technically straddling the Henderson line, offers a resort-style waterfront setting unlike anything else in the valley.

The pull here is the same Nevada advantage as Las Vegas proper — no state income tax and housing costs below coastal California — layered with Henderson's reputation for top-rated schools, lower crime, and a genuinely suburban feel five to ten minutes from the Strip when you want it.

For movers, the defining factor is gate access. Anthem, MacDonald Ranch, and several sections of Seven Hills are guard-gated, and Murdock’s coordinates move-day clearance with the HOA or gate attendant in advance so the truck isn't held up on delivery morning.
